Know When to Put Mobile Phones Away

January 12, 2013 By Matt Jabs

Tonight was date night with my beloved.

Part of my 52.7 plan is dates with her at least twice each month. Such a cool thing to mark off my to-do list!

We enjoyed jerked meals at Nine Mile while swaying to Caribbean beats, followed up with world class desserts at the French Broad Chocolate Lounge.

It was a great date!

That’s not the way to do it folks. Let’s be better than that.

Yes, this is an unhealthy obsession.

In this day and age of ever-connectedness, we need to rediscover the art of giving full attention to our loved ones.

Let’s know when to put the mobile phones away and  be spellbound by our company.
