Don’t Be a Hater

January 22, 2013 By Matt Jabs

Haters

Hater: n. A person that simply cannot be happy for another person’s success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.

As a web publisher I’m always putting myself and my information out there, which means there will always be critics.

Critics are fine, haters are not.

A critic gives constructive criticism and helps to reveal mistakes or different points of view. This is healthy.

A hater hates on what you create just because they’re miserable and have nothing better to do.

Haters are a Sign of Success

If you have haters, smile, because you’re doing something right.

They’re hating on you because they’re jealous of your success.

Don’t waste time thinking about what they say, just keep doing more of what you’re doing.

How to Deal with Haters

Ignore them.

Delete their comments. Delete their Facebook posts. Unfriend them. Unfollow them.

You get the idea.

To all the Haters

If you have something to say, make it encouraging or constructive, or get the hell out.

Don’t be a hater.
